Social Worker, MSW or LCSW (Full-Time/Part-Time)

For over 43 years, we have cared for hospice patients across the Portland Metropolitan area, bringing interdisciplinary and holistic hospice services to patients and their support systems.

Position is responsible for delivery of varied social work services to hospice patients and families, including initial psychosocial evaluations, ongoing psychosocial counseling, direct casework services, and bereavement services.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree of Social Work from school accredited/approved by the Council on Social Work Education.
  • Certified Social Work Associate (CSWA), in the state of Oregon (or ability to become certified).
  • A demonstrated ability in casework, counseling and group work, including clinical social work experience preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting.
  • Basic computer knowledge. Ability to obtain proficiency in EMR program.
  • Excellence with communication skills and ability to be professional and courteous.
  • Possess valid state driver's license and reliable automobile and be willing to operate personal car as necessitated by nature of job.
  • Proof of current automobile insurance with minimum state financial responsibility limits.

**New employees are required to complete tuberculosis screening and provide proof of Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination.
