SOCIAL WORKER - IOP OUTPATIENT Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) A growing -bed behavioral health facility – Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy. Position Summary The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Social Worker will perform case management, group therapy, assessments, and provide information/referrals as needed. The Social Worker will work primarily with IOP providing case management and group therapy, as well as assist with the Partial Hospitalization (PHP). IOP will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:PM – 7:PM. On Tuesday and Thursday, the IOP Social Worker will assist PHP which runs from 8:AM – 2:PM. This position’s primary role will be to manage IOP as this is a newly developed role that will take someone with intuition, flexibility, leadership skills, and a strong background in Social Work experience. This position will also require the applicant to work in close contact with The Outpatient Director. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: MSW only License: LMSW Experience : Requires at least 1 to 3 years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Combination of education, licensure and experience and/ or student internship hours may be considered. Hours (Willing to be flexible): Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - :AM – 8:PM Tuesday and Thursday – 8:AM – 4:PM
