Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Social Media & Customer Service Specialist who will serve as the digital face and voice of Sprecher Brewing. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this hybrid role will direct both organic social media marketing and customer satisfaction workflows. Approximately one-third of this position will focus on direct customer service and DTC fulfillment support, while the remaining responsibilities span social media management, influencer marketing, product launch support, and digital promotion execution. This is an ideal role for someone who is equally passionate about content creation and customer care, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and wants to make a meaningful impact on a beloved Midwest brand’s national growth. This is an on-site position so the candidate must live in the greater Milwaukee area.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Experience (Approx. 33%)

  • Act as the primary responder for all customer inquiries across email, phone, website, and social media.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of online orders — from troubleshooting checkout issues to confirming delivery and following up on satisfaction.
  • Use Shopify and Gorgias (or similar systems) to resolve tickets and track common issues.
  • Monitor product reviews and customer sentiment to identify potential escalations and inform internal improvements.
  • Represent Sprecher and all sub-brands (Juvee, Ooh La Lemin, Green River etc.) with a helpful, upbeat, and consistent voice.

Social Media Management

  • Lead daily execution across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Plan and post content (Reels, stories, UGC, promos) aligned with brand tone and campaign calendar.
  • Engage with community comments, DMs, and tagged posts promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support product launches, seasonal pushes, and top-funnel lead-gen efforts.

Influencer Marketing & UGC Coordination

  • Recruit and manage relationships with micro-influencers and content creators.
  • Coordinate product seeding, deliverables, and usage rights.
  • Track creator engagement and help source authentic content that supports paid and organic campaigns.


Digital Promotions, Advertising Support & CRM

  • Assist in executing promotions, contests, and new product announcements across social and email/SMS.
  • Coordinate with paid media buyers on organic and paid campaign integration.
  • Support CRM initiatives by tagging engaged users and capturing content sign-ups and feedback loops.
  • Help maintain basic site merchandising and creative updates on SprecherBrewery.com.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Approximately 5 years of experience in social media, customer service, or digital marketing roles — ideally within a DTC, CPG, or food & beverage brand.
  • Strong communicator with impeccable writing and verbal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and teamwork culture.
  • Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Results driven, energetic, creative and proactive.
  • Experience managing customer service platforms (Gorgias, Zendesk, etc.) and ecommerce platforms like Shopify.
  • Solid grasp of social trends, short-form video content, and creator/influencer culture.
  • Skilled in tools like Canva, CapCut, Meta Suite, and Klaviyo (or similar).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a “how can I help?” mindset.
  • Based in the Milwaukee area.
