Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Shipping and Receiving Associate to manage daily shipping and receiving operations in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This role ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant handling of materials and shipments—including domestic and international orders—while supporting overall warehouse efficiency.
Job Description
Ensure compliance with all DOT, IATA, IMDG, and Hazardous Communications regulations, as well as GMP, ISO, and internal procedures.
Execute timely and accurate order shipments to meet on-time delivery goals.
Perform a range of shipping tasks, including: Picking and palletizing outbound orders, Preparing and documenting FedEx, UPS, and LTL (common carrier) shipments, Operating FedEx shipping equipment
Barcoding cylinders for shipping and receiving
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments (UPS, FedEx, freight) on a daily log.
Conduct daily cycle counts and report any non-conforming product.
Move all inbound materials to appropriate quarantine or storage areas.
Collaborate with team leads to identify and implement productivity improvements.
Safely operate a forklift and follow all equipment safety protocols.
Ensure all certification requirements related to shipping hazardous materials are up to date.
Prepare international shipping documentation in compliance with IATA regulations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Successfully complete all assigned training on schedule.
Skills Required
Working knowledge of warehouse scheduling systems
Familiarity with hazardous materials shipping procedures
Basic understanding of cGMP requirements (preferred)
Knowledge of shipping product lines and related documentation
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Forklift operation experience and certification (or willingness to certify)
Education
Highschool diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Current certifications in DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations
