Key Responsibilities This is an entry-level role where a helper assists Journeymen and other Sheet Metal and Shop Employees in various entry-level tasks. Sort out material, layout, assembling, and entry-level sealing. Assist installation crews as a “ground man” which will entail cranking the winch on the duct lift and other entry-level duties. Perform other duties as assigned up to Apprentice Level of Knowledge. Qualifications GED or High School Graduate Preferred. This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
