Heckman Financial in San Jose, CA is looking for a strong, detail-oriented Service Advisor to assist with various industry specific tasks to help ensure the office runs efficiently. Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is required
- Life & Health Insurance License and Series 65 required
- 3+ years experience in customer relationship management with a focus on client satisfaction
- Proven experience in investment management, asset management, or a related field is preferred
- Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data effectively
- Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with securities law and regulations governing the financial industry is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly to clients
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated

Responsibilities:
Putting client needs first is deeply rooted in our culture and at the core of everything we do. In providing excellent client service you will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on investment and asset management strategies
- Conduct thorough financial analyses to assess client portfolios and recommend appropriate adjustments.
- Manage cash flow and ensure effective cash management practices are followed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of securities law and compliance requirements to advise clients accurately
- Foster strong customer relationships through effective communication and personalized service
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored wealth management solutions for clients
- Regularly meet with clients to provide account reviews
- Support financial sales initiatives by identifying opportunities for cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
Salary:
- $75,258.00 - $85,110.00/year based on experience
