The Basics: The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based systems and related infrastructure. You will participate in technical research and development to drive innovation within the infrastructure and surrounding processes. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring technology and related processes adhere to ISO27001 and other relevant industry frameworks.

Azure (preferred), AWS and GCP.Experience with Infrastructure as Code toolsets – e.g. Terraform, Vault.Experience with Configuration Management toolsets - Ansible (Preferred).Experience with Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting.Experience with TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.Experience with SAN storage arrays and troubleshooting. Familiarity with monitoring and management of enterprise systems running on physical and cloud infrastructure requiredExperience with backups, high availability and overall infrastructure resiliency for cloud and on-premise technology requiredAbility to estimate and manage cloud usage costs and identify and operationalize cost control mechanisms preferredDemonstrated ability to work with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, GRC, Product Engineering and other teams to drive architectural decisions for cloud and on-premises technologiesFamiliarity with CI tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions (preferred)Familiarity with Docker and other container technologies (Kubernetes, ECS) Other Person of high ethics and integrityDemonstrates strong initiative and motivationAbility to partner with virtual team members.Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, changing environmentAzure Certifications a plus, but not requiredAWS Certifications a plus, but not required
