Supply Chain Planner/Buyer - Portland, OR

Sightline Intelligence is the leader in onboard video processing. Sightline is looking for a talented planner/buyer to join our customer support team. Sightline is an agile, innovative company developing onboard video processing systems for the autonomous vehicle industry (UAV, drone, robot, etc.). Purpose of Position

This role collaborates closely with our supply chain manager to analyze sales data and forecasts, building a robust demand plan. This individual will work collaboratively with our sales operations, go-to-market, production, and engineering teams to provide comprehensive support for Sightline’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, can manage moving targets and multiple suppliers, and is eager to solve problems.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to review sales data and forecasts to create sustainable demand plan.
• Optimize inventory levels to align with annual revenue and inventory targets
• Create a supply plan based on the demand plan and sales backlog

Supplier Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Manage regular and irregular delivery schedules

Communication

• Work closely with the production team to align material availability with production planning
• Identify opportunities to reduce material cost and minimize inventory holding costs
• Anticipate, identify, and communicate gaps and risks in the supply chain
• Prepare key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory, supply, and delivery performance

Education and Experience Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or another relevant field (or equivalent years of related experience)
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in supply chain
• Working knowledge of inventory control procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working independently
• Eligible to work in the United States

Beneficial Experience (preferred, not required)

• Experience with NetSuite
• Preferred experience with electronics manufacturing (3+ years)

Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary range for this position is $75K to $95K annually, depending on experience.

Compensation includes salary, 11 paid holidays, PTO (20 days earned over the first year), health insurance (100% Sightline covered for HDHP with HSA), dental, vision, life/disability, 401K match, incentive plan, Sightline paid OR PFMLI coverage, schedule flexibility, parental leave, and education reimbursement.
