Job Description We are seeking experienced software engineers with a robust background in audio data, machine learning, and scalable systems design. In this role, you will focus on creating seamless communication channels between human operators and their real-time information systems. Responsibilities Develop mission-critical software solutions that are maintainable, scalable, high-performing, and highly available.
Adhere to best practices in software architecture, coding standards, and quality assurance while developing interfaces and workflow orchestration for both real-time and batched solutions.
Evaluate our solutions and models, concentrating on metrics such as latency benchmarks and accuracy.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and manage datasets for training and validation.
Ensure security, compliance, and data compartmentalization for public safety and enterprise customers.
Design and implement scalable ML/AI systems and pipelines.
Enhance model performance and accuracy to meet system requirements.
Requirements 4+ years of software development experience using Python and SQL.
Expertise in software design and best practices throughout the full development lifecycle, including coding standards and security requirements.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate ideas, assess risks, and manage feature scope for streaming solutions.
Proficient in database and data modeling.
Experience with containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless infrastructure (e.g., AWS Lambda).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration in a global team environment.
Knowledge of MLOps and the complete ML lifecycle management from prototype to production.
Experience iterating on models and production code based on analytics and feedback.
Additional Skills Experience working with ML models, including traditional networks and large language models (LLMs).
Delivered solutions in domains like audio, NLP, generative AI, and edge AI.
Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and relevant infrastructure tools (e.g., Databricks, MLFlow, AWS SageMaker, Hugging Face).
Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Ray.
Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Temporal.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Base Salary Range: $110,000 USD - $135,000 USD. Pay varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, in alignment with Motorola Solutions' values and applicable law. Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of software development experience using Python.
AND 4+ years of experience using CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins).
Must qualify for background clearance as required by government customers.
