BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of professional software development experience 5+ years of proficiency in at least one programming language 5+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems Experience mentoring or leading a technical team Strong software engineering background with full-stack development experience Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals, especially large-scale model training Expertise in distributed systems, cloud computing, and scalable data processing Experience designing data pipelines and managing ETL processes Ability to translate academic concepts into production-ready systems PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years across the entire software development life cycle Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field Experience with dataset curation and quality assessment methods Knowledge in computer vision and multimodal data processing Experience in research environments or supporting ML research workflows Familiarity with data visualization and annotation tools Understanding of modern data filtering and deduplication techniques Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
