Position Description Develops and improves a mid-tier database platform that supports the recordkeeping and administration of health benefits and savings accounts. Delivers and analyzes end-to-end technical solutions and software applications that drive project efficiency measurements. Supports client-facing applications. Coordinates large-scale technology initiatives. Plans, executes, and delivers software applications using Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies -- SCRUM. Facilitates large-scale software product initiatives by identifying and removing system impediments. Participates in software architecture, technical design, and software product implementation processes. Improves production release and quality assurance of mid-tier platform features. Primary Responsibilities Works collaboratively with leadership to enable delivery through well-executed sprints. Accelerates performance, efficiency, and value delivered by engaging across teams to find opportunities to improve agile maturity and metrics, and providing coaching, training and resources. Maintains and updates performance metrics (burn-down charts) and artifacts. Coordinates logistics for and participates in Agile events -- backlog prioritization, sprint planning, daily meetings, retrospectives, and scrum of scrum masters. Improves customer experiences on digital channels in an Agile environment. Ensures project requirements are successfully incorporated into deployments. Gathers support and approvals from Legal, Risk, and Compliance business partners prior to launching developments. Applies design and data analysis best practices to opportunity identification. Develops innovative methods to optimize processes. Prepares or reviews operational or project progress reports. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for multiple projects. Assigns and reviews the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers. Mentors junior team members. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Establishes and manages analysis plans for multiple and complex work streams. Elicits, captures, and interprets customer problems from multiple perspectives across projects or within a program. Performs independent and complex analysis for multiple projects supporting several division initiatives. Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget. Presents implications and recommendations with a strategic perspective influencing project parameters and outcomes. Provides support for multinational teams. Articulates needs, progress, challenges, and next steps with clarity and precision to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Product Management (or closely related occupation) executing large scale Agile delivery projects in a FinTech or Health Benefits business environment. Or, alternatively, Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Product Management (or closely related occupation) executing large scale Agile delivery projects in a FinTech or Health Benefits business environment. Skills and Knowledge Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") collaborating and performing delivery management for distributed application development teams to develop enterprise software solutions (databases, record keeping, middle tier, UX) in a FinTech or Health Benefits environment, using delivery collaboration tools (JIRA, JIRA Align, SharePoint, and Confluence) and data manipulation tools (DBeaver, TOAD, Tableau, and PowerBI). DE performing end-to-end deployment and install processes using release management tools (uDeploy) to facilitate feature delivery and client Go Live; providing project management to Scrum teams by creating business requirements, design, development, and testing; and facilitating scrum events (daily scrum, backlog refinement, retrospectives, sprint reviews, and sprint planning). DE performing Agile and Program Increment planning for client implementation projects, using JIRA, Jira Align, roadmapping, and ROAMing for risks; coordinating and facilitating fast-paced project delivery, using Agile methodologies and practices; coordinating and facilitating quarterly planning, backlog creation, story estimation, sprint and release planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, using JIRA, Confluence Jira Align, Mural or Miro, and Tableau; and tailoring Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe) to an organization's specific needs. DE guiding and influencing diverse teams and stakeholders, using Jira Align to achieve common goals in complex and dynamic environments; analyzing and interpreting data to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement within teams and across the organization; and coordinating planning and dependency management at a scaled level and liaising with stakeholders at all levels to influence change and ensure streamlined project and product management/delivery.
