The Senior Manager of Finance and Cost Accounting-MANUFACTURING is responsible for overseeing the financial processes and operations in our fast-paced manufacturing site location. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cost accounting and finance professional to shape and optimize financial operations, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate accounting and cost center management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial processes, including accounting, reporting, and cost center management.
Responsible for full month end close process, balance sheet reconciliation reviews, quarterly/annual SEC schedules, state tax packages, and sales tax prep.
Oversee monthly and yearly financial statements not limited to > $88M P&L, cash flow, balance sheets, etc.
Identify and manage risks and ensure proper controls are in place plant-wide.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with corporate policies, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Develop, implement, and improve financial processes and systems to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to analyze financial data, provide insights, and support decision-making.
Support of all audits including providing backup to auditors, tracking, settlement, and payouts as needed.
Coordinate automation for various month end activities and to allow for reporting at the material level and drive insights to improve profitability and keep up-to-date on customer needs.
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Serve as a key advisor to the General Manager on all financial matters, as requested.
