Job Area: Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group > Business Development General Summary: Responsibilities: Act as a detailed-oriented first line of customer support to wireless carriers with technical issues, product questions, customer escalations, etc. Be a “demand shaper” - Consolidate, maintain, and evangelize Qualcomm products and materials, provided by multiple business units or industry verticals, while driving aligned carrier offerings. Promote Qualcomm's advanced offerings in areas such as 5G/6G, AI/ML, Infrastructure, Fixed Wireless, PON, WiFi, NTN, and others. Manage technical tools/equipment and agreements needed for carrier product validation and testing. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring cross-functional interaction daily with technical and non-technical personnel within Qualcomm and the carrier. Good communication, planning, and execution skills are essential. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in sales, business development, product development, or related fields. OR Associate's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience. OR High school diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related Business field. At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, product management, or related fields. Recent experience with wireless CPU, SoC, and modems. Experience in indirect sales management with proven recent sell-through success of OEM products. OEM Technical Account Management experience. Knowledge in wireless product marketing, competitive analysis, product management, and business development. Experience working with Tier 1 North American Carriers is a plus. Ability to drive product offerings through senior carrier management. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, sales, and marketing teams for product development and market success. Self-starter, resourceful, and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel as required.
