Key Responsibilities and Duties: Manage and review complex international tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profits. Review tax returns including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041 for accuracy and compliance. Conduct technical tax research and provide solutions for diverse international clientele. Maintain and strengthen client relationships while delivering exceptional service. Lead, train, and mentor professional tax staff. Collaborate with tax leadership to grow the firm’s international tax practice. Ensure compliance with federal and international tax laws. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, especially during tax season (>40 hours/week).
Qualifications – Needed: CPA license highly preferred. Bachelor’s in Accounting or Master’s in Taxation highly preferred. Minimum 5+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on international tax. At least 2 years in a management or supervisory role. Proven experience reviewing complex returns (1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041). Strong technical tax research skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse international clientele. Ability to lead, supervise, and develop professional staff. Demonstrated ability to grow a practice. Willingness to work extended hours during busy season.
