Job Summary
Responsible for partnering with the Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) team and other functional leaders to integrate business operations through business analytics.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Works with other project team leads and functional leaders by providing supporting business integration analytics as necessary.
Reports project status and creates ad-hoc reports for management leveraging Smartsheet, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Supports the Functional Integration team by developing, supporting, and improving department scorecards and presentations.
Serves as a project manager on approved projects.
Leads status update calls with functional integration teams.
Cultivates information and or data provided by third parties and collates for internal team requirements.
Nature and Scope
Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the expected results. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc.
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
Preferred Qualifications
Must be detail oriented and have ability to manage/prioritize tasks for themselves and others.
Demonstrates ability to ask probing questions to drive out issue root cause and/or requirement/solution gaps.
Demonstrates ability to influence decisions within project teams and with leadership.
Business and or Financial Analyst background (2yrs and above)
Project Management background (2yrs and above)
Smartsheet project planning and execution, including proficiency with Smartsheet report creation, calendar view, and dynamic view.
Excel (Intermediate or above)
PowerPoint (Intermediate or above)
Excellent Communications skills (written/verbal)​
