Senior Instrumentation & Controls Project Engineer/Manager

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Project Engineer/Manager for our Colorado offices (Denver, Colorado Springs or Fort Collins). Candidate will lead I&C system engineering services and designs for the water and wastewater industry. This will managing include both in-plant and remote telemetry (SCADA) projects with the potential for HMI/PLC programming/configuration work.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparing Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), control system network diagrams, control panel wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and installation details.
Site visits, client workshops and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Coordinating with the other disciplines (process/mechanical, structural, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and site civil).
Performing quality reviews of BIM models, Revit families, and CAD based files used in the production of contract documents.
Inspect, witness equipment testing, and approve of I&C work provided by contractors at water and wastewater facilities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Knowledge of water/wastewater or industrial process instrumentation and equipment.
A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
Must know how to use AutoCAD, or AutoCAD Plant 3D
Control system software configuration/programming
Electrical design experience is a plus.
Strong verbal, writing and interpersonal skills are essential for coordination with other disciplines, and client interface.
PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in engineering

Starting pay range for this position depends on skills, experience, education and geographical location
