About the Opportunity
An established and rapidly expanding healthcare organization is seeking an experienced finance executive to lead financial operations for a large, multi-state physician practice platform. This is a high-profile role with significant influence on strategic initiatives, financial integration and operational performance across a wide network of clinical practices.
Position Overview
The Senior Director of Finance will serve as the primary financial leader for the organization’s largest physician group, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business partnership efforts. This leader will manage a dedicated team, including multiple regional finance leaders and analytics staff, and will work closely with physician owners and executive leadership to drive sustainable growth.

Based in Cincinnati, Ohio
Hybrid schedule (1–2 days onsite weekly at corporate offices)
Up to 50% travel may be required if not local
Compensation
Salary range: $190,000–$240,000 annually, depending on experience
Annual bonus potential up to 30%
Equity participation available through the parent organization
Key Responsibilities
Direct all financial operations for a large physician practice network including ownership of the full P&L
Lead integration of financial systems and processes for newly acquired practices
Oversee financial planning and analysis activities, reporting and forecasting
Develop strategic financial partnerships with physician leaders and senior executives
Manage and mentor a team of regional finance directors and FP&A professionals
Present financial results and strategic recommendations to C-suite and physician stakeholders
Ideal Background
Significant experience in financial leadership roles supporting physician practices, multisite healthcare platforms or complex healthcare organizations
Strong knowledge of physician compensation structures, mergers and acquisitions integration and financial strategy development
Skilled communicator with executive presence and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders
Collaborative and consultative approach to problem-solving
Demonstrated record of stability and commitment in prior leadership positions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Finance) and/or CPA certification preferred
Familiarity with financial systems such as SAGE Intacct, PeopleSoft, Hyperion and EMR platforms is a plus
