Your Opportunity:
You will be a senior leader of the GSAP effort responsible for the oversight of operations, execution, and the strategic future of the effort. Duties will include the following in league with your inline manager:
Leading the continued execution of the GSAP, with a keen eye to evolving points of evolution that will best serve clients and advance Janus Henderson’s and our clients’ strategic goals
Diagnosing both GSAP processes for areas of opportunity, including understanding and vetting other program offerings in the marketplace (financial services and other industries), and then driving agreed upon improvements
Analyzing the SAP client set, their needs and preferences to develop cohort-specific activations and servicing strategies—e.g., Global Financial Institution client firms feature unique geographical and decision-making complexities
Ensuring learning loops across internal GSAP constituents—e.g., cross-pollinate ideas, successes, challenges and the like with a given client type or geography to others in the program (Executive Sponsors, Lead Client Champions, Team SAP, etc., as appropriate)
Developing deep, respect and trust-based ties across the Executive Committee, Distribution executive management, and an array of stakeholder partner ‘clients’ within Janus Henderson
Supporting senior executives, key Distribution partners and others with our largest global relationships
Harmonize global distribution efforts within regionalized client group framework
Facilitate feedback from clients via formal biennial surveys in league with CX team and less formal periodic polling
Assisting with CEO communications to GSAP client set and delivery thereof
Daily coordination and oversight of program activities
Spearheading of two annual check-ins with key Janus Henderson internal GSAP stakeholders
Preparation of GSAP performance metrics quarter-to-quarter, including items such as tracking assets, client touch counts, etc. and communicating to relevant parties
Education and merchandising of program across Janus Henderson to ensure we realize ‘whole Janus Henderson’ aspirations around GSAP client support and development
Support GSAP conference event preparations and activities in league with GSAP team, Corporate Events and wide array of colleagues up, down and across Janus Henderson
Development of key GSAP employee and career pathing
Assisting Lead Client Champions with client-level strategic plan development, as requested and appropriate
Depending on GSAP relationship, participate with Distribution personnel in client meetings
The role requires a candidate with proven strengths in relationship management, business-development, strategic planning and exceptional cross-divisional coordination. The successful candidate should possess an understanding of the complex investors we serve globally, as well as their investment strategy and servicing leanings and needs. Exceptional communication and writing skills are needed in this role as interactions will regularly span from the very top of Janus Henderson, through our executive ranks and across our vast global Distribution team.

Must have skills
Seven (7) years in a finance setting with experience with global clients are varying types and needs
Exceptionally well-developed communication and organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize decisions in a fast-moving environment
Creative problem resolution and data assessment skills with demonstrated ability to assimilate research findings in global omni-channel setting
Capability and willingness to follow and deliver against Compliance, Legal and Risk guidance regarding Janus Henderson’s role and responsibilities relating to shareholders, their confidential information, and our shared trust-based relationship
Experience in a team environment that fosters culture of peer-to-peer coaching, collaboration, mentoring, recognition and perpetual development of human capital
Effective presentation preparation and delivery skills
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information quickly, develop insights and implement changes
Nice to have skills
Diverse and proven key account work history, including both geographical and client-type diversity
Prior experience in financial services that specifically included knowledge of key regional distribution practices and investment product structures—e.g., mutual funds, CITs, SMAs, UCITs, SICAVs, OEICs, Unit Trusts and ETFs, separate/seg accounts, hedge fund structures, etc.
Experience managing people, teams, complex projects
CFA, MBA or equivalent work experience

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $200,000-$220,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through the end of July, 2025.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
