Liro Group, a prominent leader in the construction sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Counsel to join our Legal & Regulatory Compliance department. This role is critical in providing legal guidance on construction law, corporate governance, and compliance matters that align with our mission to enhance urban infrastructure through engineering, construction management, and technology solutions. Provide expert legal advice and support on a range of construction agreements and projects. Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures. Stay abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its operations. Handle corporate governance issues and corporate compliance matters in coordination with other members of the legal department. Negotiate, write, and execute agreements and contracts. Offer guidance to management on legal implications of all corporate strategies and decisions. Liaise with outside legal counsel on specific legal issues as necessary. Strong expertise in construction law, contract law, and regulatory compliance. Excellent negotiation and drafting skills. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage workload to meet deadlines. Effective communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex legal issues to non-legal personnel.
