AGCO is seeking a strategic and business-minded Senior Legal Counsel to support our North American operations. This role partners closely with business leaders, provides proactive legal guidance, and ensures compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Your Impact

Provide expert legal counsel on contracts, compliance, privacy, labor and employment, dealer/franchise law, and emerging issues such as artificial intelligence.

Lead and oversee contract lifecycle management - including supervising contract administrators, creating and refining templates, negotiating terms, and improving processes - in collaboration with Purchasing, other departments, and global legal teams.

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements to align with business goals and mitigate risk.

Develop, implement, and maintain company policies that address legal and regulatory obligations.

Research and interpret laws and regulations, offering practical risk assessments and actionable recommendations.

Manage external counsel and deliver internal legal training programs to strengthen compliance and legal awareness.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

5+ years of relevant legal experience - in-house or in private practice.

Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work across multiple areas of law and adapt to changing business needs.
