Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the lead legal advisor for EPC-related matters and agreements * Draft, review, and negotiate complex EPC contracts and other commercial agreements * Provide legal support throughout the full project lifecycle—from development to operations * Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks in construction and infrastructure projects * Support issue resolution on warranty claims, liens, schedule impacts, force majeure, and scope changes * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure business goals are achieved within legal and compliance parameters * Monitor evolving laws and regulations impacting EPC transactions and proactively address risks * Develop and deliver internal training on EPC-related legal and compliance matters * Support the implementation of internal legal policies and process improvements
Qualifications:
* JD from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership * Minimum of 10 years of experience as a commercial attorney with a strong focus on EPC transactions * Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating EPC agreements and supporting major capital projects * Solid understanding of construction-related commercial issues and regulatory compliance * Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills * Ability to balance legal risk with business strategy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment * Experience in energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors is preferred * Commitment to pro bono or community-oriented legal work is a plus
