About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Counsel for Commercial Transactions to join their dynamic global operations. The successful candidate will be a seasoned legal professional with a strong background in commercial law, particularly in the areas of complex commercial transactions, global procurement, and supply chain operations. This high-impact leadership role involves leading a team of commercial attorneys, providing strategic direction, and ensuring the legal framework supports the company's new business and market opportunities. The role also includes a focus on standard business agreements, complex trade and tariff counseling, and other strategic initiatives such as M&A due diligence and high-level corporate activities.

Applicants must have a J.D. from an accredited law school, active bar membership, and at least 10 years of relevant commercial legal experience, with a minimum of 7 years in-house legal experience at a multinational company. The ideal candidate will have outstanding analytical, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, and the ability to operate as a business owner with excellent judgment. Experience in international trade, tariffs, and regulatory frameworks is essential, as is a proven track record in supporting global product development, go-to-market activities, and strategic transactions. The role requires a leader who is curious, humble, and committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
