Senior Civil Engineer Land Development (Pacific Northwest)

Location: Seattle, WA or Portland, OR | Full-time | 8+ Years of Experience

Overview: An award-winning, multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a background in land development, stormwater, and utility design. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership capacity and is looking to impact projects across commercial, residential, and infrastructure development in one of the countrys fastest-growing regions.

Key Responsibilities: Lead civil design efforts for land development projects, including grading, drainage, utility layout, and stormwater systems. Manage project delivery across multiple stakeholders and internal teams. Review and seal design documents and provide guidance to junior staff and EITs. Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and permitting agencies to ensure smooth project execution. Assist with proposal writing, scope definition, and client presentations.

Qualifications: PE license required. 8+ years of site development or civil infrastructure experience. Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, drainage analysis, utility planning, and permitting. Proven ability to manage projects independently and mentor younger engineers. Experience with public and private sector projects preferred.
