Job Summary
The senior branch operations specialist is responsible for developing relationships with retail branch teams and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in operational processes. This role maintains a strong understanding of credit union operations and prioritizing building relationships and providing financial guidance to empower members to achieve their best life.

- Collaborates with departments to identify areas of improvement, implementing best practices and maintains operational integrity.
- Assists with onboarding new employees and provides ongoing on-the-job training to branch employees.
- Works with branch managers to remediate performance deficiencies, to include training branch team members.
- Serves on committees and task forces for special projects related to creating and implementing new branch technology, due diligence, initiation, planning, execution, and closing stages.
- Documents project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Works universally and collaboratively in the personal service counselor role as needed to achieve overall branch objectives.
- Acts as a point of contact for retail branch operations employees in absence of management.
- Engages with membership teams to build relationships, identify financial needs and opportunities, and provides relevant product recommendations to members.
- Performs financial (or cash and monetary instrument) transactions and initiates and completes all assigned phases of savings and lending in an efficient and accurate manner; maintains responsibility for daily balance of cash drawer.
- Proactively follows up on existing and potential membership appointments and loan leads.
- Promotes Credit Union growth through outbound calls, community outreach, and networking.
- Maintains current knowledge of Credit Union products and services, procedures, policies, promotions and integrates them into daily activities and member conversations.
Required Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial services to include experience in cash handling, customer service, and financial technology platforms

Work Environment
Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of this job's functions.
- May work at multiple branches based on needs; work schedule may differ from week to week in terms of days worked and hours.
- Local and out-of-state travel required
- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
