Position Summary: The Senior Accountant supports financial operations and ensures the accuracy and integrity of the organization's accounting records. This role focuses on reconciliations, budget-to-actual reporting, audit preparation, and procurement report review.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and oversee complex account reconciliations.
Prepare and review budget-to-actual reports for internal stakeholders.
Support annual and program-specific audit preparation.
Review procurement reports for compliance with policies and funding requirements.
Assist with maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus
3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; nonprofit experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting.
Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
