Job Title: Senior Accountant - Cash Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's team in the accounting sector. In this role, you will contribute to managing and coordinating accounting responsibilities, applying accounting practices, and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities Manage and coordinate responsibilities of several coordinator staff to ensure adherence to Sarbanes Oxley internal controls and accounting policies. Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Practices to determine accurate accounting. Review account reconciliations and intercompany transactions and post journal entries prepared by staff members. Prepare and/or review monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring timely resolution on outstanding items. Requirements Four-year Finance and/or Accounting Degree from an accredited university. Minimum 4-7 years experience in financial/management reporting and general ledger reconciliation and analysis. Minimum 3-4 years accounting practices and supervisory experience. Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Preferred Qualifications (if any) CPA/MBA preferred. Experience with JD Edwards or similar Accounting software.
