Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the educational location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Communicate clearly and professionally with campus personnel, visitors, and emergency responders as needed. Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for access control, visitor management, and incident documentation. Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to changing conditions and needs within the educational environment. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
