We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Safety Coordinator to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This individual will be responsible for executing and maintaining all safety protocols and programs, ensuring that our employees and facilities are in compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, LOTO, environmental, OSHA 30, EHS, safety analysis, compliance, PPE, emergency response, Safety Committee Facilitator, and Hazard Analysis. This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, implement, and manage safety programs that align with company policies and regulatory requirements. 2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. 3. Facilitate and lead the Safety Committee, promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. 4. Implement and oversee the LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) program, ensuring proper training and compliance. 5. Conduct comprehensive hazard analyses, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective measures. 6. Oversee emergency response planning and execution, ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees. 7. Manage the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including training employees on correct usage and maintaining inventory. 8. Ensure compliance with OSHA 30, EHS, and other relevant safety regulations. 9. Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees. 10. Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a safety role in the manufacturing industry. 2. Proven experience with LOTO, environmental, OSHA 30, EHS, safety analysis, compliance, PPE, emergency response, Safety Committee Facilitator, and Hazard Analysis. 3. Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and compliance requirements. 4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage others in safety initiatives. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver effective training and presentations. 6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential hazards and implement effective solutions. 7. Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is preferred. 8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
