Provides care, consultation, and education for patients and staff in specific clinical area.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Facilitates the patient flow process while ensuring quality patient care in a cost effective manner.
• Directs patients care activities and patient education.
• Performs the job responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (e.g. blood pressure, height, and weight).
• Provides medication therapy services and physician support services under the supervision of the primary physician.
• Completes medical record responsibilities to meet hospital and state requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• Current state RN licensure
• CPR American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Preferred:

• 3 years of psychiatry experience
