Rest And Recovery Specialist

Play a key role in helping guests relax, recover, and recharge! HealthFitness is seeking a service-driven professional to work as a part-time Rest and Recovery Specialist at the Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center in Bentonville, AR.

Schedule: 25 hour per week, Wednesday and Friday 6:30 am - 3 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10 am - 4 pm

Oversees the delivery of services and all related equipment and direct member programs in the Rest and Recharge department. Demonstrates and guides guests through multiple recovery technologies for a quality experience. This role is the first impression of guests seeking to relax and rejuvenate.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees recovery suite areas both complimentary and paid services; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
• Provides direct program services in a variety of areas (e.g., cryotherapy, treatment, hydrotherapy, compression, red light, etc.).
• May assist with marketing and communication
• Assists with Whole Health programming
• Other duties as needed/assigned

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma and 1+ years' experience in the health and wellness field.
• Demonstrated commitment to a health-related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years' related industry experience.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification through the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
• Competency in the delivery of HealthFitness and site-specific programs and services.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and other software.

Preferred

• Experience in massage therapy, recovery, stretching, etc.

Compensation: $17.50 per hour.
