HCA Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a Med Surg RN, you will provide evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care to a diverse adult patient population with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions. Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and an interdisciplinary team, you will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments safely, monitor patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition. You will educate patients and families on disease processes, post-operative care, medications, and discharge instructions to support safe transitions of care. In this role, you will utilize critical thinking, strong clinical judgment, and excellent time management to coordinate care for multiple patients, prioritize interventions, and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record. You will advocate for patient safety, adhere to infection prevention and quality standards, and actively participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
