**Description:**
Trinity Health Grand Rapids Endoscopy Unit is a 12 bed unit that has 4 procedure rooms.
**Summary:**
The Registered Nurse facilitates relationship-centered, compassionate, quality care to patients through competent clinical practice and the application of the healing art and science of professional nursing.

**What you will do:**
+ Preparation of patients before endoscopy procedure.
+ Instruct patients about at-home prep for endoscopy procedures.
+ As part of the procedural team you will be assisting the physician during various endoscopy procedures.
+ Provide nurse sedation during a procedure.
+ Post-operative management and discharge of patients in the endoscopy unit
+ Clean endoscopes according to manufacturer instructions.
**What you will need:**
+ Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
+ Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
+ **In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire**
+ Licensed in the State of Michigan
+ Current BLS
+ **Experience in an acute health care setting preferred; Endoscopy or critical care**
