Job Summary: You will provide essential planning and delivery of both direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Working closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff, you will develop optimized nursing care plans and communicate any changes in patients' conditions appropriately. Key Responsibilities: Maintain nursing care standards and implement hospital policies. Supervise and evaluate nursing care provided to patients. Delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff capabilities. Document all patient assessments and care plans accurately in medical records. Assist in discharge planning and coordinate with the healthcare team. Administer medications following established protocols to ensure safety. Educate patients and families on treatments and care plans. Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions. Collaborate with other departments for comprehensive patient care. Participate in training and orientation of new personnel. Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree). Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. BCLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred. Prior experience in Medical/Surgical nursing in an acute care setting is preferred (minimum six months). Skills and Attributes: Proficient knowledge of medications and their administration based on age and clinical conditions. Basic computer skills and ability to organize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional and collaborative work environment.
