LifeBridge Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled NICU Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. In this role, you will provide specialized, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill and high-risk newborns, including premature infants, those with complex medical or surgical conditions, and infants requiring advanced respiratory and hemodynamic support. Working in a technologically advanced, fast-paced environment, you will perform comprehensive assessments, deliver precise interventions, and closely monitor subtle changes in each infant’s condition to ensure the highest level of safety and quality care.
As a NICU Registered Nurse at LifeBridge Health, you will collaborate with neonatologists, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. You will manage ventilators and other life-support equipment, administer medications, TPN, and blood products, perform complex procedures within your scope, and maintain meticulous electronic documentation. You will also participate in neonatal resuscitations and emergency responses, playing a key role in stabilizing and supporting infants and guiding families through critical moments.
Family-centered care is a cornerstone of this position. You will serve as a trusted resource and advocate for parents and caregivers, providing clear communication, education, and emotional support as they navigate the NICU experience. This includes preparing families for discharge by teaching safe infant care practices, medication administration as applicable, and follow-up requirements. You will uphold strict infection prevention and patient safety standards, including central line care, equipment hygiene, and adherence to unit protocols and hospital policies.
LifeBridge Health’s culture emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and community engagement, and as a NICU RN you will actively contribute to quality-improvement projects, evidence-based practice initiatives, and ongoing professional development. You will have access to educational resources, certification support, and opportunities for career advancement within our regional healthcare system. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to compassionate patient care and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery, helping to improve health and promote well-being for some of our most vulnerable patients and their families.
