Learn more about our Employee Benefits! About the Role Our Registered Nurses set a high standard by delivering expert clinical care and the highest quality support with compassion. In the Cardiac Rehab unit, you will provide care to various inpatients and outpatients with cardiac conditions, collaborating with Exercise Physiologists, Physicians, and Allied Health Technicians. By becoming part of our team, you unlock a world of possibilities in your nursing career while working in an environment that feels like family. Responsibilities include: Performing thorough nursing assessments to evaluate the health status of patients, adhering to care standards and protocols. Planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care strategies to achieve optimal outcomes. Delivering direct nursing care and overseeing non-licensed staff within the RN's practice scope, following established policies. Providing education and emotional support tailored to the patient's age, culture, condition, and circumstance. What You Need to Succeed: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN or equivalent. Knowledge in dysrhythmia recognition and cardiovascular disease pathophysiology, along with clinical exercise physiology preferred. Proficiency in cardiopulmonary assessment, computer skills, and educational planning; experience with older adults is valued. Current BLS certification. Active registered nursing license in the state of practice or an active compact license. Preferred certifications in ACSM Exercise Specialist, Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, or ANA Cardiac Rehabilitation. At least one year of experience in ICU, CCU, or another critical care setting and a preference for a minimum of one year in Cardiac Rehabilitation.
