Responsibilities include welcoming patients in the dental office, preparing patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort, selecting and setting up instruments, equipment and material needed, sterilizing instruments according to state regulations, assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry, providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions, keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked, scheduling appointments as needed, maintaining accurate patient records. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8-5. Job type is full-time with a pay range of $18.00 - $28.00 per hour.

Requirements include a high school diploma, graduating from dental assistant school is preferred, dental assistant certification or at least 1 year minimum dental experience, registered dental assistant current state license, X-Ray License. Dental assistant qualifications/skills include dental health maintenance, use of dental technology, infection control, patient services, creating a safe, effective environment, listening, teamwork, bedside manner.
