Qualifications for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

Outgoing, positive, and engaging personality

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Follow all BCBA guidance related to each clients treatment plan

Prepare for sessions with a clear understanding of goals, structure, and materials

Implement intervention procedures and provide timely communication and feedback to the BCBA

Maintain professionalism when interacting with parents and caregivers, following BACB ethical standards

Collect and record data on client progress during sessions

Comply with all HIPAA confidentiality requirements
