Position Description Join our team as a Solo Class B CDL Truck Driver with Ryder! We are looking for dedicated drivers to help us ensure the efficient delivery of goods across regions. What to Expect: Your paycheck will be enticing: Weekly Pay Guarantee: $1300 Hourly Rate: $24.75 Earn Overtime After 40 Hours Average Weekly Hours: 40+ hours Per Diem Pay: $35.00 per night Stay at Ryder Booked Hotels for Overnights Paid Training Provided Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with weekend travel (85%-90% travel required) Shift Start Time: Around 6:00 AM Our trucks are modern, three years or newer, ensuring you have reliable equipment to work with. Route Details: Deliver Solo to: Grove City, OH and surrounding areas, as well as various locations across the country Equipment: 26' Straight Truck, manual pallet jack, and lift gate Handling freight: Touch/Driver Assist for HVAC deliveries Training support for necessary endorsements Why Work with Ryder? Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old Pass a drug test and background check Pass a DOT physical and road test Possess appropriate CDL and endorsements for the role Minimum experience: 9 months of verifiable driving experience within last 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years Ability to follow instructions and read regulations Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and safety regulations Minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records Load and unload freight as required Perform other assigned duties as needed Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
