Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Strategic Account Director to lead and manage our top accounts within the utility sector in the Los Angeles area. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Include the following: other duties may be assigned)
Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for assigned strategic accounts, aligning with OSS business objectives.
Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers/suppliers as well as the end customer, from individual contributors up through VP/Director levels
Proactively maintain existing business, as well as identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Conduct regular business reviews with customers and manufacturers to assess performance, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.
Lead several internal multi-disciplinary teams involved with supporting customer business, including assembled/engineered products, tools & safety, and commodities/warehouse/logistics/supply chain to achieve goals and exceed customer expectations.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate key accounts and drive revenue growth.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
Proactively identify and address potential customer challenges and risks.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals to maximize performance and productivity.
Collaborate with other departments to align regional strategies with overall company goals.
Communicate effectively and consistently to the customer, by leading in-person and Teams meetings, organizing and deploying project kickoffs, providing sales and inventory reporting, attending customer training, marketing and social events
Proven track record of exceeding goals and achieving business objectives.
Strong understanding of the public utility industry, including regulatory frameworks and customer needs.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Ability to leverage current business to create new growth opportunities within existing customers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with customers and vendors.
Proficient in analyzing data to make informed decisions that drive business results.
Familiarity with market dynamics and competitive landscape within the industry
Must have a proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor talent within an organization.
Education and Experience:
• Electrical, Industrial experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or
• 5 - 7 years' electrical industry experience and/or 7-10 years sales experience in equivalent trades
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation details: 165000-200000 Yearly Salary
