Salary: The hiring salary for Records & Information Management Analyst II is starting at $66,133. The full pay range for Records & Information Management Analyst II is $56,524-$90,439.

The Office of the Authority Clerk is looking for a Records & Information Management Analyst with a collaborative mindset on building partnerships across the organization to champion records governance. As the Authority’s unofficial ambassador of records, this role will serve as a mentor to departmental Records Coordinators and a consultant to internal teams navigating records compliance in a dynamic, regulatory environment.
The ideal candidate brings approachable communication and fluency with records retention schedules; this role translates the why behind records policies into practical, user-friendly guidance. The selected individual will also support the evolution of the Authority’s electronic content management system, helping departments’ structure, secure, and retrieve records in alignment with enterprise-wide standards.
They won’t just manage records—they will shape how the Authority understands and values them. Acting as a mentor, trainer, and internal consultant, the Records & Information Management Analyst builds lasting partnerships across departments and serves as the go-to resource for records governance at a growing, evolving public agency.
What You’ll Do:
Program oversight and compliance: Coordinates the Authority’s Records & Information Management Program to ensure legal, administrative, and operational compliance; maintains retention schedules and destruction procedures.
System governance and support: Manages access, indexing, and metadata within the Enterprise Content Management System; troubleshoots technical issues and supports department users.
Training and consultation: Develops materials and delivers trainings; mentors Records Coordinators and acts as an internal consultant on records-related policies and practices.
Document preservation and control: Oversees classification, filing, and long-term preservation of contractual records, including deeds, leases, and agreements.
Process improvement and stakeholder engagement: Partners with departments to improve workflows, identify needs, and recommend effective, compliant solutions.

Communication : Effectively exchanges information with stakeholders through various avenues, including but not limited to verbal, written, facilitation, and persuasion.
Leveraging Technology: Effective use of electronic information and associated systems; proficient in computer systems and records and information management software.
Customer & Personal Service: Aids and supports departmental staff and outside stakeholders with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Project Coordination : Ability to prioritize deadlines, tasks, and work as appropriate to ensure successful completion of various projects.
Requirements
The Experience You Need to Have**:
Three years of professional experience in records and information management, information systems, archives and records management or other related field, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree in business or public administration, records management or a closely related field.
Licenses, Certificates, and Special Requirements :
Prior experience in a government agency or public organization is strongly desired.
Certified Records Manager, Certified Records Analyst, Information Governance Professional designation.
