Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Attorney for a prestigious law firm in New York or Washington, DC. The firm is looking for mid-level to senior associates or special counsels (class of 2019 and above) with experience in commercial real estate transactions. Responsibilities: Represent lenders and borrowers in complex commercial real estate transactions. Draft and negotiate loan agreements, leases, and other transaction documents. Provide strategic counsel on real estate finance, acquisitions, and development projects. Requirements: JD from an accredited law school. Admission to the New York or DC Bar (or eligibility to waive in). 5+ years of commercial real estate experience, with a focus on lending. Strong drafting and negotiation skills. Why Apply?
