Job Description: As a Radiologic Technologist with Ballinger Memorial Hospital District, you will perform vital diagnostic radiographic and computed tomography (CT) procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, prioritizing patient safety, maintaining equipment functionality, and accurately preparing reports and records. Key Responsibilities: Execute diagnostic radiographic and CT procedures as prescribed by physicians. Ensure patients feel safe and comfortable throughout imaging processes. Maintain and sanitize imaging equipment for peak performance. Accurately prepare and maintain patient records and comprehensive reports. Comply with all safety protocols and radiation safety standards. Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care. Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Holds current Texas licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist. CT certification is required. Additional certifications in MRI, Mammography, or Bone Density are beneficial. Opportunities to obtain these certifications will be provided after hiring. Current CPR certification is mandatory. A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Technologist is preferred.
