Job Details

SUMMARY: As our Quality Technician you will manager your own 1 of 4 Value Streams in an auto diecast manufacturing environment.

SHIFT:

* 2nd Shift starting at 2pm

MUST HAVES:

* Program CMM in PC-DMIS * PPAP * Blueprints / GD&T * Excel

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform first piece part approvals. * Identify the customer products. * Create instructions for any new product. * Advise of any updates or work instructions changes. * Work and train operators to identify quality issues as well as how to use gauges and any other type of measurement instruments. * Implement and maintain updated measurement instruments and all types of gauges used within the Value Stream. * Work together with the team members to facilitate and help with any quality issues. * Implement inspection practices, it will be critical for the maintenance of all quality records. * Participate in answer corrective actions (SCAR)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* 5+ Years of professional Quality Tech experience. * Experience with FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, (procedural improvement) with customer requirements. * Experienced CMM programming using PC-DMIS, * Experience reading and understanding Blueprints GD&T * Experience using measuring instruments.
