Position Overview:

We are currently hiring a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team in the seafood processing industry located in Medley, FL. This role ensures that all seafood products meet strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a cold production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspect seafood products for quality, freshness, and consistency

· Monitor sanitation and hygiene practices throughout the facility

· Identify and report any non-conformities or product issues

· Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality checks

· Perform temperature checks and other standard QC procedures

· Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA, and other food safety regulations

· Work closely with production staff to address and resolve quality issues

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in quality control or seafood/food production preferred

· Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and general food safety practices

· Ability to work in cold, wet environments for extended periods

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols

· Dependable and able to adapt to changing shifts and production needs

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required

· Shift Change: Must be available to transition to night shift as needed

· Overtime: Available based on production needs
