Please note: This job posting is part of a contract bid opportunity and is intended to identify potential candidates for inclusion in our proposal to a client. This is not an immediate job opening. Employment is contingent upon the award of the contract.


Job Summary:

Bizzell US has an immediate opening for an on-site Quality Control Auditor. The position will support and assist the NASA AMES facility.

Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with the QC manager, assess compliance with Quality Control procedures.

• Report findings of the results of inspections and communicate these findings to the QC Manager.

• Recommend improvement based on audits and suggest changes to enhance quality and efficiency,

• Monitor the quality, health welfare, and environmental management policies, programs, and initiatives for an Operations and Maintenance contract.

• Monitor and maintain programs to ensure a quality compliant work environment, while striving to assist the achievement of continuous improvement of operational methodology and techniques.

• Analyze and evaluate quality policies and programs to meet specific contract requirements to ensure adherence to requirements established under ISO 9001:2000.

Requirements:



Key Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain an access card to the site.


Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of Quality Control Management experience required.

• Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance engineering, Business Management or related field required.

• Must be experienced in quality ISO standards and quality metrics associated with maintenance and operations.


Preferred:

• Experience working in a research or academic institution, particularly with NASA or similar organizations.

• Knowledge of sustainable building practices, renewable energy technologies, and smart building systems relevant to research and development facilities.

• LEED accreditation or experience with green building certifications.


Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
