Assist with the audit programs, reviewing reports, and monitoring suppliers. Apply knowledge of safety and quality, GFSI schemes, and second- or third-party auditing knowledge to meet business needs under direction of the QA Manager. Assist QA management with implementing various quality systems. Work towards achieving and maintaining GFSI certification. Administer Approved Vendor/Supplier list. Issue new documents (SOPs, master formulas and spec sheets). Communicate corrective actions to suppliers/Vendors. Manage and monitor customer complaints. Review and manage audit complaints and provide support for training. Report all monthly trending reports to the Manager. Assist in implementation of corrective action required because of audit. Communicate nonconforming products to appropriate personnel. Write technical reports and supporting documentation such as deviation, CAPAs, reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses preventative/corrective actions. Ensure timely closure of investigations. Participate in internal audits for compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and regulations. Participate actively in technology transfer, method qualification and validation.
Requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering in any field, Food Science, or a related degree. Employer will accept employment experience or academic training. Employment experience or academic training must include: Quality control and management processes, manufacturing methods, and management & organization processes. Salary: $126,526 to $130,000/ year.
