Were hiring a Purchasing Analyst! Were looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Auburn Hills. As a Purchasing Analyst , youll play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials to meet critical project schedules, while also supporting long-term supplier development and cost analysis.
What Youll Be Doing: Serve as a key Purchasing Analyst tracking and managing material needs to support projects Review open orders daily and work with Project Buyers to reduce supply risks Follow up with suppliers on late deliveries and upcoming at-risk POs Maintain strong communication between Purchasing, Project Management, and Production teams Oversee supplier performance dashboards (on-time delivery, quality, cost savings) Support documentation and new supplier onboarding Research and identify cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers
What Were Looking For: 4+ years of experience in Purchasing or Materials Management Bachelor's degree preferred ERP experience required (SAP strongly preferred) Proficiency in Excel (functions, pivot tables, charts) Basic understanding of MRP systems Strong communication and organizational skills Analytical mindset with attention to detail
