Pulmonary RN

Position Summary: Assists the Manager with nursing functions of Pulmonary Medicine Department and works with the medical staff of the Pulmonary Medicine Department in organizing and maintaining multiple programs and projects.
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years nursing experience. Critical care experience with strong pulmonary background preferred.
Education: BSN preferred
Required License / Credentials: Current New Jersey License as a Registered Nurse.
Other Required Skills: Computer proficiency required at time of hire. Must obtain BLS, ACLS, IV, EKG and Telemetry Certification within 3 months of hire.
Contact With Others: Regular internal and/or external contacts involving considerable tact, discretion and persuasion in order to obtain information and/or willing action or consent where it would otherwise be difficult to obtain.
Supervision Given: none
Supervision Received: Performs duties independently, following established procedures and reporting periodically to supervisor and department chair.
Hours: 80 hours per pay period
The minimum starting rate for this position is $40.67
