Physical Therapy Assistant

MAIN FUNCTION: Responsible for performing medically approved physical therapy programs for treatment of musculo-skeletal defects and neuromuscular diseases and problems to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability keeping in mind patient age, development and mental status. The Physical Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The ability to work both on the outpatient and acute care setting.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Director, Rehabilitation/Health and Wellness

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS: Licensed in the State of Ohio through Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board of Ohio. BLS
