Job Description

Medical Center is seeking a Psychiatry Residency Program Director to join their team in western PA.

Highlights:

Candidate will be involved with the development, implementation, and oversight of our new psychiatric residency training program of 4 residents
The position will be a combination of administrative and clinical duties, including predominantly outpatient as well as inpatient or a combination of both
Weekday call is currently being handled / weekend call will be estimated to be 1:8
The group provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to include both adult, child and adolescent services, a robust consultation liaison service for the hospital, a MAT program and medical education
The Department is involved in teaching family practice residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and social work interns
An ECT program will be added
The candidate will have at least five years of clinical experience and board certification
Prior experience running a residency training program in psychiatry is desired
